About the firm

A finance function you can point an auditor at

Phyber Mart Financial exists for companies that have outgrown casual bookkeeping but are not ready to hire a finance team — and cannot afford for the numbers to be approximately right.

Why we work this way

Accuracy first, advice second

Plenty of firms will give you a strategy. Far fewer will first make sure the numbers that strategy rests on are correct. We do it in that order, because advice built on unreconciled books is a guess wearing a suit.

In practice that means the unglamorous work comes first: the ledger is clean, the accounts reconcile, the filings are current. Once that is true, forecasting and planning become useful rather than decorative.

It also means we will occasionally tell you something you did not want to hear — that a deduction will not survive review, that a projection is optimistic, or that the loan you are chasing is the wrong instrument. That is the job.

How an engagement runs

Four stages, in this order

This sequence matters — each stage depends on the one before it, which is why we do not skip ahead to advisory work on books that have not been reconciled.

STAGE 01 · Review

We look at what you have

A no-charge call and a review of your current records. We establish what state the books are in, what is outstanding on the compliance side, and what the actual problem is — which is often not the one you called about.

STAGE 02 · Scope

You get it in writing

A written scope of work and a fixed fee. It states exactly what we will do, what we need from you, and when each deliverable lands. Nothing starts until you have agreed to it.

STAGE 03 · Rebuild

We get the records clean

Reconciliation, catch-up work and any corrective filings. This is the stage that varies most between clients, and it is the one that determines whether everything afterwards is worth anything.

STAGE 04 · Run

It becomes routine

A fixed monthly close calendar, reporting on a predictable date, and deadlines tracked ahead of time. From here, advisory work sits on numbers you can rely on.

Fit

Who this is and is not for

Good fit

  • Established businesses with real transaction volume
  • Owners who have outgrown doing books themselves
  • Companies preparing for a loan, raise or sale
  • Multi-state or multi-entity structures
  • Anyone behind on filings and wanting to fix it properly

Not a fit

  • Pre-revenue with no transactions to record
  • Looking for the cheapest possible filing, nothing more
  • Wanting positions we cannot defend under review
  • Needing full-time on-site finance staff
  • Expecting audit or attest services — we do not provide these
